    Thanks - TheLampMan (James)(Australia)t

  14. To describe Dman in just one word is impossible. But with one sentence, it is doable. I'm just gonna go ahead and say, I have had manyh teachers for many different subjects in my life. Dman, has been the best one I have ever had, and I haven't even met him face to face! It is really awesome to see an instructor so willing to teach his students. And not just willing, having fun while he's doing it. All though, I do feel bad for him, because he has so many students but he doesn't get to see the majority of them progress. Thanks for all the hard work dman!

  15. Top stuff. I travelled for a couple of years, meeting lots and lots of guitarists who I thought were high quality. However not many could teach or get across their knowledge and I think you do that very well. I'm swapping my guitar for a bass ASAP!

  16. I like your tutorials, I just got my bass yesterday and was wondering if I had to do streches and looked on you page when learning how to finger walk and now I now. Thanks man

  17. Thank you for teaching as, and GOD Bless you and your family

  18. u taught me more in like 15 mins than my friend in 4 days

  19. finally someone who actually explains things properly and starts from the basics! im dedicated to learning the bass man and im gonna start studying your videos hardout. cheers!

I would love to see longer+more informative lessons on your site, keep up the great work, mate!"

  23. "i think ur videos have helped me more than any others....some ppl dont know how to respect and appreciate good bass players like you....thanks for ur help...

  24. "Honestly,I am a huge fan. HahaI've recently been trying to improve on my slap, and these are always great videos. Not only are you an incredible bass player, you must have the coolest/friendiest attitude as well. As cheesy as that may sound. HahaI wish I had an accent as well. :( ahaStay funky!

  25. " just started playing the bass about a month ago, but your videos have probably been the biggest help when it came to me practicing out the slap and pop. Oh, and the hand excercises were exactly what I was looking for :)

I love these videos of yours, they keep me going when things get too hard. Keep it up -Mecrac"

  26. "Wow you are by far the most helpful bass teacher i've ever seen, infact you explain things so wonderfully, these exercises really helped me a lot, if anything they allow my fingers to move much faster. -Masterdonmaniac"

  27. "hey, you're just such a legend champ! i'm already 23 and i just started to learn bass guitar but i got little background in playing acoustic guitar but i sucks.. :( do u think i'm too old to learn it? can u please give me few tips that could help me and inspire me. my email add is *********** thanks you so much and thanks for your free lessons here at youtube, we really appreciate it so much! peace out-Samaslub"

  30. "getting a bass in a week from now, and i also whatched all ur vid, and its realy easy to understand and im not eaven from the UK :P, but yeah a HUGE thanks for the vids. hope there will be more of these here on youtube!"

  31. "Man seriously you are the best bass teacher I have ever been "with", you have excellent tecniques, and control of the best. You qre simply the best"

  32. "Wow. Thanks so much for taking the time to show ho to play this starting slowly. So many bass 'lesson' videos on YouTube just show people playing songs at fill speed and expect you to be able to make out their fingering techniques etc amongst the grainy video that ends up after YouTube does the compression. Definitely the way to teach

: show full speed, break it down in slow-mo and then gradually ramp back up to full again.

    Many thanks!"

  33. "wow man thank you so much. ive been playing for two years now , and ive tried so many techniques for slappin and poppin and this is by far the best one..seriously thank you"

  34. "You probably hear this alot, but DAMN, i'm just a beginner, but i know a good teacher when I see one. Thank you so much for everything you do. "

  35. "Thank You So Much Dude! this was excactly what i was looking for, ive been playing for just over a year and can slap but i needed something to make it flow better and actually sound good, your videos were a definate help to take me to the next level "

  36. "My god! thank you soo much! i really love how you have decided to keep these on youtube! now i might actually be able to play something decent!"

  37. "I don't know why, Dman, but if I just can't seem to get whatever it is I'm trying to achieve all I have to do is watch one of your videos and it makes me feel alot better, and I get back on the wagon and try again. Thanks for doing this for those of us who absolutely must pinch the pennys. You truly are an inspiration to bass players every where.. "

  38. "i'm going to get a bass tomorrow and i dont have a clue and i have never played an instrament before but you really helped me and im going to watch this a few times over again tomorrow

    "

  39. "Hey! My Pastor taught me this last night (showed me the basics) and I came looking for some more help and I found this video! I loved it! It was such a big help and added to what he had already taught me last night! Thank you so much! I will definitely be checking the other stuff on your site! Thanks! "

  40. "THANKS MAN!!! you might have read what i commented but im a beginner bass player working on getting better. the only way i learned was through tabs and little youtube videos to show you where to put my fingers on frets.

  41. "i just bought a bass yesterday and today i know how to slap

    YOu ROCK!Thanks! "

  42. "There is an option when you open up your webcam thingy...whether to flip the image or not...its there jus gotta find it!....that out of the way...you are amazing. You have a great teaching technique!...very easy stuff...but sounds crazy insane when playing...thanx for this!..and God Bless!"

  43. " Hey Kris thanks mate for posting the tut's and especially the 1'st slap and pop tut, i just watched it 5 minutes ago and was playing along while you were showing how its done. And now after like five minutes i'm already happy with my speed (not fast or clean sounding but good to my standards). So thanks."

  44. "mate, i got to thank you for your brilliant work...i can now do a lot of stuff i always wanted to do. i play in band, & you've just improved our whole sound!
